The way it all started

Everyone needs to learn.

Whatever your reason for coming to Gloomhaven, out here on the edge of the world, that simple fact is never going to change. A Gloomer can’t play on an empty brain. So when Vic, a Valrath merchant wearing a red cloak and enough gold jewelry to keep you fed for a decade, approaches you in the Sleeping Lion and offers to pay you ten gold coins to track down a geek and retrieve some stolen wiki...well, it seems like as good an excuse as any to sober up and start paying off your tab.
“This geek has taken some important documents,” says the red-skinned merchant, his tail whipping about in agitation. “I don’t care what you do to him. Just bring back what is mine.” Based on Vic’s description, it was easy enough to search around a few threads and websites and get a location of the geeks’ hideout. You don’t find yourself as a Gloomer way out in Gloomhaven without knowing how to type a few keys.
So your target is the Black Barrow. Sounds like a lovely place.

Spoilers

This site is originally intended to focus on lore around the Gloomhaven universe. We include, as time goes, some rules summary, but we do not discuss strategy.

Please note that we try to highlight spoilers as much as we can and tagged them on pages but we cannot guarantee 100% spoiler-proof. It might include spoilers if a certain race, class, non player character or information is unveiled at a certain moment in the campaign progression.

As a general rule of thumb, only names will be spoiled to you. If you see a link towards a name you do not know about, do not click on it !

Any rules questions or details are listed on Board Game Geek.
